WHIMIS

CPO-approved Workplace Hazardous Materials education and awareness training, including SDS sheets, controlled substances and workplace labels.

HAZARD AWARENESS TRAINING-4-STEP and 5-STEP

A mandatory requirement for all Supervisors and Workers, this course covers duties and responsibilities under the OHSA, hazard recognition, assessment, control and evaluation (R.A.C.E) and includes completion of mandatory MLTSD 4-STEP and 5-STEP safety training.

BASIC HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING

Part 1 of the Compulsory Orientation and Required Education (C.O.R.E.) training program, this custom-designed basic Health & Safety training is designed for Workers and Supervisors and covers OHSA Legislation, policies and procedures, workplace duties and responsibilities, hazard identification and controls, and incident reporting.

WORKPLACE VIOLENCE & HARASSMENT

Part 2 of the C.O.R.E. onboarding program, this mandatory training is designed for all Employees and covers Workplace Violence Policy, reporting procedures, duties and responsibilities, and safety planning. 

CODE of conduct

As part of the WPVH Policy, the Code of Conduct covers appropriate and respectful conduct in the workplace the those actions, behaviours and comments that are prohibited.
