One of the most important aspects of Health and Safety is providing Employees with updated safety information. Equally important, is the location of emergency information and equipment. Pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Regulations, these are referred to as
mandatory
postings. Employers are legally required to ensure all mandatory postings are located in a conspicuous location for all Workers to see.
One of the biggest challenges with mandatory postings is knowing what information is required and where to get it. Equally frustrating is the time it takes to assign an Employee to collect the information, organize it and construct a platform on which to display it. Not only is this inefficient and unproductive.
