Awareness and proactive emergency preparedness training is vital in any organization for the safety and security of all staff. From ensuring proper policies and emergency protocols.  An effective Emergency Response Plan (ERP) relies on the ability of all Employees to confidently recognize an emergency situation, properly assess it and know how to respond.  This starts with qualified training.

At TOTAL Safety Management, our Emergency Management Instructors have extensive knowledge and experience in Emergency Response Preparedness and Operations.  Most importantly, key to having effective Emergency Response Procedures is regularly testing them.

Practicing Medical Emergency procedures not only ensures Employees know what to do in an emergency, but running practical drills ensures they know what to expect and have the confidence to do so safely.  Ultimately, providing them with a realistic training environment and ensuring that when an emergency occurs, Employees are equipped with the tools and knowledge to effectively respond.

Who Should Take This Course?

This training exercise is designed for companies and organizations of all sizes and in all Sectors and is ideal for Workers, Supervisors, JHSC members, and in-house emergency response teams.

Prerequisites

There is no prerequisite for this training exercise. 

Equipment Required

There is no training equipment required for this exercise.  Participants should come dressed for the weather and information will be provided as part of the pre-drill orientation.

Recurrency and Recertification

There is no certification for emergency training exercises.  However, it is recommended that drills be conducted a minimum of once each year.
