HS REP DAY 1 CERTIFICATION
Employers are required to ensure they have a designated Health & Safety Representative in the workplace. But, in order to be effective, they must have qualified training. Ensuring those members understand their roles, responsibilities and authority when it comes to workplace Health & Safety.
At TOTAL Safety Management, our Instructors have extensive knowledge and experience in the efficient workplace Health and Safety and the important role HS REPs play. With courses offered each month, Employers have the convenience of ensuring all required training is completed without disruption to day-to-day operations.
Our comprehensive three-day, in-class HS REP certification training course focuses on Theory-based education and information to ensure that HS REPS understand their duties and responsibilities under the OHSA & Regulations. Providing them with the knowledge and confidence to make effective decisions as a member of the workplace safety Team.

Course Overview
DAY 1-CERTIFICATION
As a leader in Health and Safety education and training, our comprehensive, in-class training program includes the mandatory Provincial requirements for HS REP certification training. This three-day course is designed to ensure Workers have the knowledge and skills to be an effective workplace Health & Safety REP. Who Should Take This Course?
This course is designed for frontline Workers to become a certified Health & Safety REP. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a wall certificate and wallet card. In addition, all participants receive complimentary academic tracking and re-currency reminder service.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Equipment Required
There is no training equipment required for this course. Participant training manuals and all required reading materials are included in the cost of the course. Mandatory participant dress code is business casual.

Recurrency and Recertification
All certificates issued are valid for three years and must be renewed. Included as part of all JHSC Certification training programs is complimentary academic tracking and a re-currency training reminder service.
