As well as, custom-designed training programs, including participant manuals, PowerPoint presentations and Worker evaluations. From initial conceptualization and Legislative research to layout design, draft development and implementation. SAFE WORK PROCEDURES (SWP)

Included as part of a comprehensive Health and Safety program is the development of site-specific Safe Work Procedures (SWP). This includes conducting a site or task-specific Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or equipment and/or process Pre-Start Reviews (PSR), as well as supporting education and awareness programs.

WORKPLACE VIOLENCE and HARASSMENT POLICY

A fundamental workplace document, the Workplace Violence and Harassment Policy (WPVH) is a mandatory Legislative requirement under the OHSA and must include clearly defined principles of workplace violence prevention, incident management, emergency response, investigation and Employee education and awareness training.

POLICY REVIEW

All Policies should be reviewed a minimum of once each year. For certain policies, such as the Health and Safety Policy, it is a legal requirement under the OHSA. As part of our overall Health and Safety services, we schedule and review your policies annually to ensure Legislative and Regulatory compliance, accountability and corporate consistency. This includes all updates, such as additions, amendments and/or retractions, as well as version control numbering.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE & TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLANS

As part of an effective Health and Safety program, Employers must develop Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP). This includes the identification of known or potential workplace hazards and emergencies, as well as defining appropriate response procedures for the protection of all Workers.

INSPECTION CHECKLISTS and FORMS

The key to the implementation of any policy is Employee training and the use of simple, but effective supporting documentation. Our services include the design and development of workplace forms, such as inspection checklists, incident report forms or Employee surveys. Included with all documentation is the implementation of up-to-date Document Control Numbers (DCN).

RECORD INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (RIM)

Audits are an important key to document control, organization and management.  This includes insuring all policies, procedures and forms have assigned Version Codes and Document Control Numbers (DCN).  As part of TOTAL Safety Management's business services, we provide full RIM integration and co-ordination, including scheduled audits.
